Montana State University has established a Research Compliance Committee to oversee MSU’s efforts to comply with federal and state regulation of research.  While research compliance programs at MSU are not centralized under the management of the Committee, it monitors, evaluates, and reports to the President concerning the various compliance programs and efforts at MSU.

The Committee is responsible for “designing, implementing, and overseeing a Research Compliance Program at MSU” in accordance with generally accepted elements of effective compliance programs. [link to charge]

The Committee is composed of five members who were appointed by the President and five ex officio, non-voting members. [link to committee roster and contact information].  The Committee meets regularly and its agendas are published on this website in advance of meetings.
